Biography

Born on the back of previous failures of stability in their own bands, Velvet (originally known as Fire-Fire!) was created on a day where the belief that the style and influences of their play was non-existent and lacking in the local scene. Following in the shadow of their role models, The Strokes and the Arctic Monkeys, their sound was built from the ground up and went to a grinder of obstacles to be what it is today.
