Biography

Serena plays the bongos, djembe, congas, cajon and many other percussion instruments. Fueled by her passion, she infuses her infectious rhythms with an eclectic assortment of music ranging from classical to poprock to afro-cuban, even electronic and dance music. Various performances include the official opening of the Esplanade and The Arts House, various “Esplanade Presents” series and WOMAD 2005 & 2007, Soundwaves 2008 & 2009 with the Singapore Pop Orchestra and the opening of YOG Singapore 2010 in Mexico and Korea.
