Niko Cezar - Lead Vocals Jed Consolacion - Guitars / Clean Vocals Mico Cambel - Guitars Keith Altares - Drums Five young lads brought together by the scene ready to take on the world to prove themselves and express their radical view of music. "All of the bands to ever plug into an amplifier wanted to change the world." - While She Sleeps “Saving The Dying Hope” was born from thought to light. Counting off with Niko (vocals), Jason (lead guitar), Keith (drums), Gio (bass), and Yong (rhythm) as the first members. The band has already seen some life-like troubles. With Yong leaving the band for reasons yet to be foretold. Jed filled his shoes and this time it’s for a long shot. He then started contributing vital efforts for coming up with materials and also helping the band with critical responsibilities. Everything was going all too well until Jason came to a decision to leave the band and prioritize his academic responsibilities. The band gave in to his request in honour and still managing to have Jason play for one more night at their first year gig at a bar in west avenue Qc. just in time for Joms (a mutual friend of the band) to fill in for the loss and started playing regularly with the band. Soon after, Mel (another friend) tagged along and stood to play synths for the band giving off a complete feel of what their music is all about. Soon after, they’ve started playing regularly for small bars across town and even in different Universities Given the luxury of acquiring new and eager members, the band has consistently hit the local bars hard by performing at a sick and steady basis. Gathering instant street rep each night they perform and share their music with other bands and fans alike, Giving them the advantage to instantly spread out their potentials and ideas in an ever growing number of supporters. Saving the dying hope has opened to some of the country’s great bands like WOLFGANG, ARCADIA, PAINSCALE, FAINTLIGHT, JEJAVIEW and CHICOSCI. They have played an event last March 1, 2014 called WARPED LINE PH which includes many of our country’s uprising bands. They have also conquered FEU DILIMAN last April 12,2014 & Headlined the first #Intramurosrising music festival in intramuros which gave their audience a jaw dropping experience and saw what SAVING THE DYING HOPE IS MADE OFF. They also won 1st place at Mapua Insitute of Technology battle of the bands last July 2014. "They started out as a "cover band" at some gigs and at schools. Eventually, they made a "signature sound" of their own." " I find this band more serious about what they are to be a better band, participating some of events and supporting some of their buddies.
