Biography

It all started when she picked up a guitar while preparing portfolio for art school interview, and came up with 30 songs a month, as if to release creativity that couldn't be manifested through paintings. The demo tape made at that time caught the attention of Sony music and made her debut in 2004 with single "Rie Who!?". After some amazing recording sessions such as with the members of the Pretenders in London, graduates CSM in 2007 and starts her Japan-based career, mixing art and music, collaborating with other artist as well. Establishes Rie fu inc. in 2012.
