Biography

Japsuki is the solo alter ego of Filipino musician, Japs Sergio. He was the bass player of one of the Philippines’ most influential bands, Rivermaya. A few months after leaving the band, he made a passion project solo album that he wrote from scratch, performed, recorded, and mixed, 3 weeks in April, 2011 using Apple's GarageBand. The album is called “Monologue Whispers”. It is the only local full-length album recorded and released commercially using the software. So far, japsuki is not actively doing live gigs as he is busy with his dirty rock band, Peso Movement, but he is more than willing to do a show if a good opportunity presents itself.
