Biography

The Filipino Voice Symphony or simply FaVS, was founded in 2009, tracing its roots from a Filipino online forum. What started out as a discussion among Singapore-based Filipinos of varying choral backgrounds eventually led to an invitation to meet up and talk about forming an all-Filipino a cappella group. Since then, FaVS has performed in numerous events all over Singapore. "Fabulously Vibrant at Six" – FAVS is a product of the efforts of past and present FVS members who, at some point, took part in the journey of performing choral music during these past six years. The performance will feature pieces that will cover the spectrum of pop, sacred, traditional Singaporean, Original Pilipino (OPM), film, and even a dash of good old classic rock music, each selected to depict a rich and dynamic aural canvas of riveting a cappella music.
