With over 10 years of experience and embracing a love and hate relationship in the music scene that traces his steps all the way from San Francisco to Singapore,his musical style and influence breathes with immense soul from the likes of funk greats Sly & The Family Stone to Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, disco groovin’ Stevie Wonder to Jamiroquai, hip hop’s lyrical Sugarhill Gang to Mos Def & Talib Kweli, among the favorites. With some round spinning machines + some technical wizardry infused into his sets, Drem has brought about his afro-loving style and kung-fu mix skills to resident some of Singapore’s biggest clubs (Cocco Latte, The Butter Factory, Ku De Ta) and continues to push on the sound on the soul tip movement, in which he defines himself in all one catch phrase… ” i’m anything soul “.
