Biography
Dezaster is a 4-piece Heavy Metal band from Singapore that dwells within Speed and Thrash Metal. The band was founded by Guitarist/Vocalist, Brandon John in 2014.
Currently, Dezaster is comprised of Brandon John (Guitars/Vox), Raimy Rashid (Guitars), Kim Evangelista (Bass) and Denise Yeow (Drums).
Dezaster's first release in 2016, "STAND ALONE", featured long-time Guitarist, Raimy Rashid. Both Brandon and Raimy have been the main driving force of the band, pushing and fusing influences from bands like Megadeth, Coroner and Slayer. The 4-song EP embodies what the band is about - technicality, blistering solos, and lyrics based on real-life issues.
Dezaster's second release in 2019, "NO SURRENDER", is the band's debut album. The 11-tracked album greatly shows 4 technical players working together as one unit to drive so much force into each individual song. The album is a representation of what each member feels a Speed/Thrash Metal band should sound like; No bullshit and just straight up in your face, while still keeping the dignity of the band's lyrical theme.
Dezaster is an independent band and works solely on its own as of now. Loyalty and passion for music runs deep in their veins.
