Engaging a crop of emerging young names in Singapore music, Singapore Management University (SMU) is holding a fundraising concert for its Habitat For Humanity arm.
The CCA has provided opportunities for students to learn about humanitarian efforts and take part in building houses in the continued mission to eliminate poverty housing overseas. Additionally, it has also rounded up help to clean up houses for the elderly in Singapore.
The concert is an annual affair, and this year's line-up will feature Sam Rui, Gareth Fernandez, LEW, Jana Ann Neo and SMU Habitat for Humanity's own band, Chimney Chumps, in a casual acoustic setting at the SMU Labs Atrium from 7.30pm. This intimate gig will serve as a warm-up for Sam Rui, who's prepping for her Laneway debut next year.
Tickets are going for $14 a piece, and all proceeds will go towards SMU Habitat for Humanity for their upcoming projects. You can sign up for a ticket here.
