BANKS' upcoming Singapore concert is cancelled

Now this is a real bummer.

As we previously reported, BANKS' return to Singapore is certainly one of the most anticipated concerts coming up on the local gig calendar. Well, sadly, that's not to be.

The alt-R&B songstress will no longer be coming to Singapore this July, and her gig has been cancelled.

Here's the official statement from promoters Secret Sounds Asia.

The only bit of positive news that we can gleam is that both parties are hoping to reschedule down the road, so there's still hope for her return in the near future.

In the meantime, full refunds will be issued through original mode of payment.
